Lobos up next for Frogs

Coming off a 83-56 victory over the Wyoming Cowboys, the TCU Men’s Basketball team looks to build on its conference record when it squares off with New Mexico on Tuesday night.

The Horned Frogs, 1-1 in conference and 9-6 overall, will have work to do against a Lobos team that comes in with 14 wins and only three losses on the season. J.R. Giddens, Chad Toppert and Jamaal Smith are all averaging double figures in points for the Lobos. The trio of guards will test the Horned Frogs defense. The game is scheduled for 8 p.m. Tuesday night at the Daniel Meyer Coliseum.

In the Frogs’ victory over Wyoming on Saturday, guard Henry Salter paced the team with 20 points on seven for 16 shooting. He also had six rebounds and one assist.
