TCU Library “24/5″ Kick-Off Party

The TCU Library will be having a kick-off party at 12:30 a.m. Wednesday morning in honor of the new 24 hours/5 days a week (A.K.A “24/5″) hours policy that has been put into effect. According to Dr. June Koelker, Dean of the Library, she will be making some remarks, along with Student Government Association President Thomas Pressly. Koelker said that there will be cake and the event will be brief.

The library’s 24/5 a week will officially begin Tuesday morning, Sept. 2, 2008, at 7:00 a.m. When there isn’t a university holiday, the hours for an average week will be from Sunday at noon and will stay open continuously until Friday night at 8:00 p.m. Koelker said that the Saturday hours are unchanged.

Koelker said that she hopes students will come out Wednesday morning to celebrate in honor of the new hours.
