The TCU Interfaith Community will have its Kick-off event tonight. The event, which includes free pizza, will take place on the first floor of the newly remodeled Jarvis Hall. The Kick-off begins at 5:15 p.m. and is scheduled to last until 7 p.m. in the Religious and Spiritual Life conference room. In addition to a free meal, guests will also get the chance to participate in a roundtable discussion about the most pressing religious issues in today’s global society.
The Interfaith Community is part of the school’s Religious and Spiritual Life department. According to its website (http://interfaith.tcu.edu/), TCU’s Interfaith Community exists “to promote campus-wide understanding and respect of diverse spiritual beliefs by means of communication, dialogue, education and advocacy.” The organization has several events planned throughout the semester, including other roundtable discussions and a Faith and Film Series.
