Spring Break
The view I have from the press box is one I’d like to frame and hang in my living room. To my right is the west side of campus, complete with a brand new crane. To the left I can see downtown. Continuing left, a parking lot, which I find particularly bothersome.
Why are there so many people still in the parking lot tailgating? Maybe they’re unaware that their team knocked off the then-No. 9 team in the nation last week. Maybe they’re unaware that if the Frogs win out, they bring a conference title to campus. Maybe they’re unaware that representatives from a BCS bowl are in the press box watching the game, also enjoying the view of TCU fans in the parking lot. Bet they’re loving that.
