Local investment firm offers scholarships to TCU students

Q Investments, a local investment firm, is offering three scholarships to students for the 2009-2010 school year.

Chris Pate, director of recruiting for Q Investments, said the firm has a strong connection to TCU and is interested in helping recruit future people to the investment industry.

Pate said the firm is offering one $5,000 scholarship and two $12,500 scholarships to all students with an interest in business, not just business majors.

This is the first time Q Investments has offered these scholarships, Pate said, but if all goes well, the firm hopes to continue offering these scholarships in the future.
